Feel the rhythm of some of New York City's hottest Latin bands! On summer evenings the High Line transforms into an open-air dance floor. DJ Rimarkable kicks off each night followed by live performances from local salsa legends. Grab your friends and get ready to dance!
Join Sonido Costeño, a modern-day Latin band whose high energy music is a creative fusion of latin music and salsa along with other world music. Their concerts transform spaces with a repertoire that includes Son Cubano, Nueva Trova, Boleros & Ballads, Cha Cha Cha, Mambo, Guaguanco, Latin Jazz and probably a Merengue and Bachata or two.
Join us at 6 PM for music by DJ Rimarkable and a dance lesson with Bombazo Dance Company or come early for a drink at Terroir and a killer sunset view!

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Sonido Costeño's solid reputation to deliver the best quality entertainment has lead them to perform at many of New York's best cultural institutions, including The Brooklyn Museum and El Museo del Barrio. They excel in entertaining at community events such as Bronx Library Center, senior centers, weddings and private parties. Their stellar performances, however, are best enjoyed at NYC's finest clubs, restaurants and casino's such as: Havana Central, Subrosa, Sounds of Brazil (SOB), Gonzales y Gonzalez, Empire City Yonkers Raceway and The World Resorts Casino. This modern-day New York City band creatively brings together Latin and salsa music in a high-energy fusion.
DJ Rimarkable has been a crowd-reading master and rocker of international dance floors for nearly two decades and has shared the bill with a host of superstars from George Clinton to Madonna to wowing notable colleagues and crowds on Boiler Room. Rimarkable is the curator & resident DJ for the international nightlife event, Everybody Random. She resides in Brooklyn, where she owns and operates her creative production company, Rimarkable Things.
Milteri Tucker Concepcion is a Puerto Rican professional dancer, choreographer, dance educator, and scholar. As the founder and artistic director of Bombazo Dance Company, she has performed with salsa legends Larry Harlow and Orchestra, Grammy Award winner Arturo O'Farrill, Pete Rodriguez, and, at the 2013 Latin Billboard Awards, pop sensation Don Omar.
