Now Open: Terroir at The Porch Returns for Another Season

Paul Grieco and Marco Canora's popular wine bar, Terroir, is once again operating a seasonal location at The Porch, the open-air café on the High Line.

Stop by to take in views of the Hudson River while enjoying savory dishes and cold, refreshing drinks from Terroir’s wine and beer list, which highlights artisanal wineries and breweries from New York State

Stay Updated on High Line Conditions during Winter Storms

The High Line is one mile in length, connecting three neighborhoods along the west side of Manhattan.

During snow and ice storms, portions of the High Line, or the entire High Line, may experience delayed openings, early closures, or complete closures to ensure visitor safety and to enable staff to clear the park’s pathways. Learn more about our process for clearing snow and ice.

Monthly Bloom Guide for July

Park Update: High Line to Close Early on Wednesday, July 4

Due to anticipated crowds in the Meatpacking District and Chelsea for the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks, the High Line will close at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 4 in cooperation with the New York City Police Department and the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.

The High Line Merchandise and Membership Cart and High Line Food Partners will close at approximately 5:00 PM.

Regular park hours will resume on Thursday, July 5.

This Wednesday: Live Latin Music and Dancing on the High Line

Join us on Wednesday, June 27, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, for ¡Arriba! – the first in a monthly series of free community dance parties featuring New York City's best live Latin bands.

This week Orlando Marín, the Last Mambo King, and his brass ensemble blend salsa and merengue as the sun sets at the High Line.

Summer hours take effect on Friday, June 1, with the park being open from 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM.

FINAL DAYS High Line Billboard: Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari for Toilet Paper

Commissioned by High Line Art, artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari present the fourth work in a series for HIGH LINE BILLBOARD, the 25-by-75 foot billboard next to the High Line at West 18th Street and 10th Avenue.

As part of their publication Toilet Paper, the two artists selected an image that at first perfectly blends in with nearby advertisements, but when viewed carefully, encourages a variety of free associations.

High Line Talk: Beyond the High Line: Transforming Chicago

Join us on Monday, June 18 for a free public talk on the Bloomingdale Trail, a three mile-long elevated railway in the heart of Chicago that is being transformed into a new public space.

Due to anticipated crowds in Chelsea for the New York City Pride festivities, the High Line will close at 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 24 in cooperation with the New York City Police Department and the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.

The High Line Field Station, High Line Merchandise and Membership Cart, and High Line Food Partners will close at approximately 5:00 PM.

Regular park hours will resume on Monday, June 25.

All Week Long: Step to the High Line Festival

We’ve invited teens from around the city to turn the High Line into their stage during Step to the High Line, a four-day festival of step performances celebrating the power and energy of the our city’s youth. The festival begins on Wednesday, June 13, and culminates with a showcase and workshop on Saturday, June 16.

High Line Art Performance: Simone Forti

Join us tonight at 6:00 PM when celebrated choreographer Simone Forti will present her famous 1961 experimental dance work Huddle, along the pathway of the High Line. A group of dancers will form a huddle that will move along the High Line with one dancer after the other detaching from the group, climbing on the human formation, and reuniting with the huddle.

This event begins at 6:00 PM on the High Line under The Standard, New York.
