To meet the demands of our busiest time of the year, we ask all friends of the High Line to help us raise a total of $30,000—$1,000 for each block of our 1.5-mile-long park along Manhattan’s West Side.


Make It Move!

As the summer winds down, let’s keep moving! Design moveable creations with our Children’s Workyard Kit, learn a new dance move, and more.

This program is geared towards children ages 0-12.

Schedule of events:

10 – 11 AM: Storytime for children ages 0-5 years.

10 AM – 1 PM: Ongoing activities: mobile garden with Friends of the High Line gardener, worm bin exploration, and an art project led by
Arch for Kids.

11:30 AM: Performance by
Caribbean Vibe Steel Drum Band

12:00 PM: Performance by
Caribbean Vibe Steel Drum Band (repeat)

12:30 PM: Performance by The Brandon Project.

All children must be accompanied by a caregiver at all times.

This program is held rain or shine.
